I have 22 years of experience in counselling & psychotherapy, coaching and training in different settings, including counselling centres and a GP surgery.

I worked at mental health charities including MIND where I carried out some Counselling Assessments and volunteered as therapist.

I currently work at West Bletchley Wellbeing and Counselling Centre and am delivering Managing Stress workshops for MK Carers.

I have a broad range of experience counselling people from all walks of life, including carers, adopters and people who are adopted, nurses, doctors, police officers and inspectors, performers, public speakers, and also students, parents, teachers and other professionals within the education system.

I also have experience of working in Education, Adoption Support, Performing Arts, and Public Speaking.

Where it is helpful, I use beneficial practices such as NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Mindfulness techniques, to encourage clients to challenge negative beliefs about themselves.

My experience in the performing arts helps me with specialist techniques to provide a service as a confidence and self-esteem coach for artists, actors, dancers, musicians and singers, including coaching for auditions, interviews, performances and public speaking. I have a microphone system for performance practice and for microphone technique.

I have a background in education and offer counselling for teachers and other professionals in education, students, concerned parents, as well as coaching for study and exam techniques.’
